Safety when registering my OnlineCode mobile number

How do I know this request to enter my mobile number isn’t an online scam?

You will need to enter your mobile number when you register for OnlineCode in ANZ Internet Banking.

You can verify that you’ve logged on to ANZ Internet Banking in the following ways:

  • Always type the full address www.anz.co.nz into the address bar.
  • The website address should have changed from http:// to https://, and;
  • The padlock symbol appears at the bottom of your web browser to indicate the page you are on has additional security. You can double click on the padlock symbol to ensure the certificate is issued to www.anz.co.nz, is issued by Verisign and has a valid start and expiry date.
