Collect a 'Pay to Mobile' payment

How do non-ANZ customers, or ANZ customers without ANZ goMoney or who aren't registered for Pay to Mobile in ANZ goMoney collect a Pay to Mobile payment?

The person you are paying will receive a text message advising they’ve been sent a mobile payment to be collected.

Collecting the payment

  1. The person you're paying will need to navigate to our Claim Payment site
  2. Complete the following fields:
    • Mobile number (the mobile number of the person you're paying)
    • Amount (the exact amount of the payment - this will be outlined in the text message notification the recipient has received from ANZ)
  3. Click Continue
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Your name
    • Account number
    • OnlineCode (your secure one-off OnlineCode that we will send to the person you are paying's mobile once they've entered the mobile number and amount of the payment)
  5. Click Continue
  6. Confirm the details and click Claim payment

The person you are paying has seven days to collect the payment. If the payment is not collected within seven days, the payment will be returned to your account.

Provided that all the relevant details have been entered correctly, the funds will appear in the account the person you are paying has nominated immediately (for ANZ accounts) or the next business day (for all other banks). Please note that the timing of when funds are available in non-ANZ bank accounts ultimately depends on your bank.
