Refunds for an Apple Pay purchase are processed in a similar way to a traditional contactless refund. Please note that it is important that refunds are processed on the same card as the original transaction.
You can have the customer hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near the reader, select the card they used to make the original payment, and authorise the return with Touch ID or passcode.
