How do I apply for a new overdraft?

We can set up an overdraft on your existing ANZ account. If you don't have an account with ANZ, we can help with that too.

To be eligible for an overdraft on your everyday account, you must:

  • be 18 years or older with a regular income
  • have your main source of income directly credited to your ANZ account
  • be a New Zealand resident
