Why have I been charged a transaction fee?

Selected ANZ accounts have transaction fees for automated and/or manual transactions.

For a list of these fees, refer to our Account transaction charges page.

  • Manual transactions include cheques and transactions handled by our staff at a branch or by phone
  • Automated transactions include EFTPOS transactions, ATM transactions, direct debits and direct credits, and all electronic transactions made through ANZ Internet Banking, ANZ Phone Banking, and ANZ goMoney
